Our Vision

The vision of Worldwide Christian Schools (WWCS) is to glorify God by ensuring that all children have access to Christ-centred education.
That means the economic and the physical barriers need to be eliminated. It also means we need to deliver Christian education in new ways.
There are hundreds of thousands of different people groups, and we want to reach them all. It is possible because we work through national or indigenous organizations. It is important for us to identify the key visionaries and Christian leaders in each community and empower them so that they can carry the work forward. That means strategically we need to concentrate with targeted groups of field partners. We don’t have the ability to affect every region in the world today, but we’re growing to that point. It is a huge task, and it is one that is not going to be accomplished overnight, but we believe with God’s help it is possible.
We define Christian education as interactive, Christ-centered and sustainable. The interactive part is very important to Worldwide. We’ll never be an organization that encourages people to just put curriculum up on the web for other people to look at, because then the interactive portion is gone. But through the internet and other technologies, there are ways to reach new people groups, or large groups, through a teacher, even if that teacher won’t be right in front of them. Maybe that teacher won’t be working in a traditional school. If you look at where technology has taken us today and the abilities that we have as a people to communicate that we did not have five years ago, just think of where we’re going to be ten years from now, fifteen years from now. We’re going to be able to do a lot more things a lot less expensively than we can today. So our vision is right in line with the abilities that God has given His people.
